The Honda CBR900RR 50th Anniversary Edition, a limited-run model, was a special edition commemorating Honda’s 50th year of motorcycle production in 1998. These bikes were enhanced by RS Performance, featuring upgrades like R.S. camshafts, Full Akrapovic exhaust system, Proflex rear shock, Harris Adjustable Rear Set footrests and Dream Machine paintwork. The CBR900RR 50th Anniversary Edition came in 50 numbered units. This machine stands out amongst the Fireblades of the 90’s, designed by Russell Savory, Dave Hancock and Mick Grant. The special edition paint scheme was designed by John Keogh with complimenting carbon fibre parts added to make a stunning looking bike.

Story:
- Honda celebrated its 50th anniversary as a motorcycle manufacturer in 1998.
- To mark the occasion, Honda Britain released limited edition versions of several models, including the CBR900RR Fireblade.
- The special edition CBR900RR models were entrusted to Russell Savory’s RS Performance for enhancements.
- Engine:918cc, liquid-cooled, inline-four, DOHC, 16-valve.
- Power:128bhp @ 10,500rpm
- Torque:68 lb.ft @ 8200rpm
- Production:50 numbered units were produced, this being No. 14.
